Marble: beautiful, but needs thought
Marble has fine veining and a classic look. It is softer than granite and can stain from acids, for example from lemon or some cleaning agents. It suits receptions and walls, but needs care on floors with heavy traffic.
Travertine: warm and calm
Travertine has small cavities in the surface that are often filled. The stone has a warm, calm expression and is used on both floors and walls. The surface can be polished, matt or brushed.
Granite: for heavy loads
Granite is hard and resistant and suits stairs, floors and places with a lot of traffic. The expression is denser and darker than marble.
Ask about origin and documentation
Natural stone is a natural product, and colour and veining vary from block to block. Order samples and, if possible, see the whole batch before you decide.
We help with choice of stone, formats and documentation, also when the stone is combined with furniture and doors.
